Tourist groups must register to visit the NUK on weekdays (Monday through Friday) at dogodki@nuk.uni-lj.si. No registration is required on Saturday.

- Occupancy of the NUK Reading Room seats can be checked on the website at any time
- The cloakroom is open from 8am to 8pm.
NEWSPAPER READING ROOM (REVIEWING OF LIBRARY MATERIALS, ALSO MATERIALS OF THE MUSIC COLLECTION, PICTORIAL COLLECTION, MAP COLLECTION, EPHEMERA AND GREY LITERATURE COLLECTION AND DIASPORA PUBLICATIONS COLLECTION)
- Open: Monday - Friday from 9am to 6pm, Saturday from 9am to 2pm

- To review material from special collections a pre-order is required (material ordered by 11 am will be available for review the next day)
COMPUTER AND LEARNING SPACE (COMPUTER FOR SEARCHING THE LIBRARY CATALOGUES AND LEASED INFORMATION RESOURCES, USE OF A SPECIAL COMPUTER IS REQUIRED)
- Open: Monday – Friday from 8am to 8pm, Saturday from 9am to 2pm
SPACE FOR GROUP LEARNING (PLEČNIK'S HALL)
- 20 users, no prior reservation of the seats is needed
- Open: Monday – Friday from 8am to 8pm, Saturday from 9am to 2pm
MANUSCRIPT COLLECTION READING ROOM (REVIEWING OF MANUSCRIPTS AND RARE AND OLD PRINTS)
- Open: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 9am to 2pm; Wednesday from 9am to 6pm; every first Saturday each month from 9am to 2 pm
- Prior reservation of the Reading room seat and prior ordering of material at least a day before the visit is obligatory to: rokopisnazbirka@nuk.uni-lj.si (materials ordered until 11am will be available next day)
User seats are also available in the Information Centre (ground floor, room 9) to support the use of electronic resources and for searching material.
You are recommended to use the SERVICES IN THE ONLINE ENVIRONMENT.
You can borrow library materials remotely, via postal service (with paying for the envelope and postal services). For further information, please contact us by e-mail izposoja@nuk.uni-lj.si.

Please do not enter the library if you have any signs of a respiratory infection, a fever or you feel sick. We provide services in accordance with the valid recommendations of the National Institute of Public Health (NIJZ) in a way that enables secure exchange for users as well as for the library employees.
