Activity

Development, maintenance, and management of information systems, digital infrastructure, and technological solutions with the aim of ensuring the secure and efficient operation of library services:

• planning, maintenance, and development of information systems;
• development and establishment of the Slovenian humanities and cultural heritage data space;
• software development to support the digital library;
• maintenance of software supporting business processes;
• support for the harvesting and archiving of web content and ensuring the long-term preservation of mandatory deposit web publications;
• technical support for digitisation processes;
• planning and maintenance of computer networks and communication infrastructure;
• ensuring business continuity;
• development and maintenance of storage systems, hardware, and software;
• implementation of cybersecurity measures;
• procurement of hardware and software;
• coordination and supervision of external ICT service providers and other external partners;
• participation in the development of the COBISS.SI system;
• support for integrating digital collections into international data platforms;
• carrying out research, development, educational, exhibition, and promotional activities within the scope of its work.
